Bioniclemania

 Hi, it’s me–finally!!!  Sorry I couldn’t post for so long, but I couldn’t log in and I was busy with other stuff.  Anyway, you know the comic I said would be coming in winter?  Well, it’s coming, but meanwhile, I have taken the comic storyline, and turned it into an epic with chapters!  I will post this epic in installments of two chapters, and here are the first two!  Enjoy!

 (Note: This story takes place while Turaga Dume was a Toa, because he is the main character.  Another note: It would be useful to read the Bionicle World guide before reading this, because there are places mentioned in it that you may not have heard of before.)

Hydropump’s Battlefield

Chapter 1

 Toa Dume crept through the streets of Xia.  He was on a patrol mission for Pridak- not willingly, only because he knew better than to argue with him.  He hadn’t seen anything yet, and he was beginning to think that this was a complete waste of time, when he saw something orange flash down one of the side streets.  Dume was puzzled.  There were no Rahi at all on Xia, and the people of the island, the Vortixx, all wore jet-black armor.  Even none of his fellow Toa were orange.  He started after the orange being.  He followed it down several small, shadowy alleyways, finally stopping in a dead end.  Dume peered into the shadows, barely managing to make out a huge, hulking figure wearing a Kanohi Vahi- a Great Mask of Time.  “Who’s there?” he asked.  “Come closer. Quickly!” the strange being replied.  Dume approached cautiously.  “Who are you?”  “That does not matter right now. You are needed.”  “Where am I needed? Why?”  “You will find out soon enough. Hurry! There is not much time.”  “But-“ Dume suddenly noticed that the stranger’s mask was glowing.  “Good luck.”  “Wait! I-“ The next thing he knew, he was hurtling through space, through the dimensions, through time itself, to an unknown destination.  Then suddenly, he slowed down, stopped, and fell, landing on hard, hot ground.

Chapter 2 

Dume got up and looked around.  He was standing in the middle of a huge desert.  Far off in the distance, he could see a blue haze, and- a green speck, hurtling toward him?  Dume squinted, trying to make it out better.  It looked like a Toa-sized figure, wearing a Kanohi Mahiki, a Great Mask of Illusion, and holding weapons that looked like double buzz saws.  It also had something on its back that was emitting smoke and propelling it forward at an amazing speed.  “Yaaaaaah!” it yelled, as it came closer and closer and—WHUMPF!  It collided with him, knocking him over onto the parched earth.  Dume got to his feet and looked at the green being.  “Um, a little help here?” it asked.  Dume helped it up.  “Thanks,” it said breathlessly.  “I was just trying out my new jetpack, but- hey, who are you, anyway?”  “I am Dume, Toa of Fire,” he replied. “And who are you?”  “I’m Jetstream.”  “Are you a Toa?”  “Yes. Air.”  “Where is this?”  “This is Zakaz.”  “Zakaz?”  Jetstream gaped at him.  “You’ve never heard of Zakaz?!”  “No!”  Dume was starting to feel annoyed.  “Look, can’t you-“  “I know!” said Jetstream.  “I’ll take you to Hydropump! He’ll tell you everything you want to know.”  “Who’s Hydropump?”  Again Jetstream stared at him.  “I can’t believe you,” he said.  “Come on, let’s get going.”
